I'm always excited to witness how far the electronic payment options have gone to in Malaysia. As long as the registration doesn't cost me much, I will give it a try.
So I searched Google for Maxis M-Money, but couldn't get useful results. So I went to Maxis official website, made a search, and found some useful details on M-Money.
Gone through some of the notes for better understanding, and finally decided to give it a try.
1. Type in Mmoney, sent to 27007.
2. As described in the registration process, I was replied with a SMS with menu options to begin with.
3. Replied with 1 for registration.
Guess what, I was replied with the following message, written in German language!
Die Applikation eMoney Red kann derseit nicht erreicht werden!
Hey Maxis, since when I told you I can read German language ha???
Luckily we have Google Translate, which helped me to translate the above statement into English, as follows
