Windows Vista will be officially launched for consumer market in early February. Aligning with Microsoft’s global strategy to make the launch a loud hype, a launching event will be held in Malaysia as well, for Windows Vista and Microsoft Office 2007.
Date: 3rd and 4th Feb 2007 (Sat, Sun)
Venue: Low Yat Plaza Boulevard and Ground Floor Concourse
Time: Saturday – 10am to 9.30pm; Sunday – 10am to 6pm

The launch ceremony will be held at 8pm of 3rd Feb. Ya, it’s Saturday night. It’s just on time to continue your outing with clubbing at the KL golden triangle ;)
There’s also a highlighted activity called Amazing Vista Walk Hunt on 3rd Feb from 5.15pm to 7.45pm. A few limited copies of Windows Vista personally signed by Bill Gates are up for grab hehe. If you would like to participate, you need to pre-register your group.
I’m not participating in this Vista Launch though :) ‘Cos I’m going for a Northward food hunting journey during that weekend.
A number of familiar corporate names that we’re living with day in day out will also be launching their branded Vista desktop gadgets. Of course, these desktop gadgets are designed to offer consumer users informative features. Soon you will what these companies are ;) I shouldn’t reveal now.
